JOURNAL #23 - PACK IT ALL UP INTO YOUR DUFFEL BAG

Our duffel bag is designed to be an essential item of outdoor kit that can take a lot of gear but is still easy to carry and is robust enough to cope with your next outdoor adventure.

We’d often used the small drawstring bags you buy in sports stores for children’s sports clothes, going to the gym and found the drawstring design really useful. It was easy to pull up the strings so nothing fell out, carry in your hand or over your shoulder and it folded away flat when not being used. We did use them on our outdoor adventures but found that they don’t carry a lot and when we put them on wet ground the damp seeped through. Plus, when they got dirty you needed to throw them in the wash.

We researched the materials to ensure we had the qualities we needed, durability, strength and easy to clean. Then with the help of a British factory based in Birmingham we produced our duffel bag.

You can use the duffel to carry outdoor kit, dog gear, picnic supplies as well as putting in any wet and muddy gear from your day out.

We keep ours in the car so it’s always ready. It has come in handy for wet towels after a dog walk, carrying towels and swimming costumes when wild swimming and muddy rugby. And like one of our customers, it also makes an alternative supermarket ‘bag for life’ when popping in for groceries on the way home.
